Look – I’ve got beef.
Here’s the deal: ChuggaBoom is literally HANDS DOWN the BEST metalcore band in the world, right? Right. As per our prior interview with them in on Issue #5 (Dec of 2018) we were informed that “The Chugg Lord inspires every lyric, every note, and every song title. If we do on the off chance come up with our own ideas, we will always run the concept past the Chugg Lord, followed by our manager who will almost always shut down any idea we have, saying it’s too “inappropriate.” So, if that is the case, then this song, “Bohemian Rhapsody” literally debuting NOW for your ears, was a Chugg Lord direct message…..this brings me to my beef:
WHO IS THIS ‘QUEEN’ PERSON, TRYING TO STEAL THE GLORY FOR THIS INCREDIBLE TRACK?! Who would have the nerve to steal this track off an un-referenced youtube link and out from under the noses of our dear fellows in ChuggaBoom, TIME TRAVEL to 1975 (of all years!), and imitate their exact video WITH awful hairstyles to boot?!
Our investigation continues with some comparison photos the coppas have compiled for our own investigations into this thievery….
….Alright alright, our detective gig is up – here’s the real skinny on this case: ChuggaBoom blew this cover of Queen‘s “Bohemian Rhapsody” OUT of the WATER. Toe for toe with the original video, the replication is truly seamless. The vocal talent? Impeccable. It is few and far between that any mortal can even compete with Freddie Mercury‘s legendary vocals….who else but ChuggaBoom! Perfectly dropped breakdowns, curdling screams, and gutteral cries accent the track just enough to bring this track to life.
