“...I am scared when I get to the point where I am comfortable that I will lose it (the hunger) because this is my identity and my legacy is way more important than a paycheck…I want to be a legend, you know? Not just somebody who was wealthy but a legend who helped inspire a whole generation of people. That to me is the ultimate form of success - whether I am rich or not - to leave this world knowing that I left them with a discography that people are just gung ho about and just creating new bands just inspired by, that would be amazing. Shayley Bourget - solo member of the metalcore project, Dayshell - is on his way to releasing the project’s 4th studio album titled, ‘Pegasus’, in the coming year. We dig into building a legacy in the industry, discovering your own identity through music, and how pushing limits can lead to surprises. As always, we chat about artists who have, and still inspire Shayley along his impressive musical journey to date.
