Formed in the pandemic, What Lies Below comes out swinging with a sound that resonates for so many in the metalcore genre. This band caught our ear in 2021 and it has been an adventure to watch them grow since. With a massive tour on the horizon, Nic Beardsley caught up with vocalist, Andrew Watson, to chat about the band. It was great to chat with someone from that end of the world again. Setting the stage: A suburban building, where both music videos to date for Midfield were shot, the drummer works, AND is the home for Midfield's practices, hosted our conversation session for the artist interview this month. Nic had a chance to sit down and really dig deep into two of the minds behind Midfield, Tyler Patchell and Kurt Nubbemeyer.
